Raylene Has Returned to Porn

raylenes dirty work coverRaylene’s Dirty Work, the 90’s star’s first movie in 8 years releases tomorrow and I know that a at least a few of you will be interested to see how it turns out – especially since she’s going right into anal and boy/boy/girl right out of the gate (as well as, perhaps, rimming in Tom Byron’s Seasoned Players Meets Asseaters Unanimous). Not to mention that based simply on the box cover, she’s still looking pretty good.

I’ll admit that I didn’t start watching porn in earnest until the year Raylene retired, so I didn’t really get a chance to appreciate her talents at the time. I am curious, though, how many of you plan to check this movie out.

She’s a very popular star, but when I started in the business, she didn’t have a disembodied UR3 Pussy and Ass toy like Jenteal or Nikki Tyler, so I never thought to check out her movies. (Yes, she does have a doll, but c’mon…) If this comeback is successful, she may yet have her ladybits molded in realistic skin rubber.

So tell me – do you dig Raylene? Are you looking forward to her return to porn? Why or why not? If you have a favorite movie, feel free to make recommendations for me (and your fellow readers) to check out.

    Hi Alison. I seem to recall Raylene as a quality performer, but there are so many adult film stars, it’s hard to keep track of everyone. Especially girls that have been out of the business for a period of time. Another factor is girls with similar names eventually meld together in my mind. In this case, Raylene and Rayveness. I just discovered Olivia Del Rio and wondered how I overlooked such a stunningly beautiful girl (and good performer) for so long. I finally realized every time I saw the name Olivia Del Rio, I connected it to the image of Olivia O’Lovely (who is popular but not my type). Raylene appeared in a mff threesome with Johnni Black in Backseat Driver #1. That scene would probably provide a good representation of her abilities. Excellent supporting cast on that title with Sydnee Steele, Liza Harper, the late Missy, and rope favorite Inari Vachs, among others seeing action.

    I definitely think it’s even harder to keep track of them all if you’re not a Vivid fanboy. I think there are a bunch of folks (who most likely don’t read this blog) for whom Vivid movies were what they cut their teeth on and they have a special place in their…hearts?

    I, too, confuse Olivia Del Rio and Olivia O’Lovely. There are a few other ones, but I can’t think of them off the top of my head.

    I’ll have to check out Backseat Driver #1. Hopefully someone has it available for pay-per-minute.

    2. I too conflate Raylene and Rayveness. From the box cover they sort of resemble each other. Now that I think of it, I didn’t know what unscrambled Rayveness looked like till a couple of years ago.

    3. A better question is why’s she returning to porn now when it’s slim pickings for everyone and right on the heels of a major AIDS scare (sounds like a think piece in the making. Do that shit)? Was she brokering for Lehman Brothers?

    As for why Raylene is returning to porn when most performers have seen their workload decline by 50-90% and an AIDS-infected performer was allowed to work recently…she’s broke. When she left porn, she got into residential real estate. Now that the bottom’s fallen out of the market, she has but one other marketable skill…

    Now that you mention it, it’s surprising it hasn’t been mentioned in at least one NPR story about quirky indicators of the economy being in the toilet. I clearly need to give PBS a call…
