How Specific are Your Porn Interests?

I took a trip to L.A. this weekend and happened to meet a pro basketball player while enjoying a beer with some friends outside their apartment (no, it wasn’t Kobe). After we talked basketball for a while, he asked what we did for a living. My companions and I are all in the porn business in one way or another and told him as much.

Not realizing, perhaps, that it’s a slight faux pas to tell someone you steal their product, he said that he usually got his porn from pornhub.com. The fact that a millionaire just told me he watched random, low-quality porn came as something of a shock. I’ve long been under the impression that people are generally looking for something more specific than that. Maybe I’m wrong.

I know the majority of people who answered the last poll said they didn’t pay for porn, but I’m really curious to know what that really means. (And as always, I’m interested to hear your opinions on issues like this. Please feel free to elaborate or put forth your own theories in the comments.)
